There are probably 100 color combinations if someone were to make a true cosmetic line for Black women, should we start calling out our shade or be realistic and admit that some women are dark. There are a million shades for white women but no one calls them olive, peach, porcelain, cream, ivory, rice paper or oatmeal. No one said we all wear the same foundation. If we're being honest most Black people are brown, just different shades of the spectrum. She has a beautiful complexion but I'm not about to sit here and call people brown, cocoa or mocha because they don't want to be called dark. I have worked with her and her face is very close to the shade of her body. Since when was brown considered a medium color? Brown is no longer considered dark? Why is calling Bernice dark a bad thing? She filters her pics and plays with lighting a lot. People are delusional these days saying Kenya Moore and Gabby Union are not dark, they are brown. How am I being colorblind? I'm just over people thinking you have to be Lupita or Alek Wek's complexion to be considered dark skin.
